I dont know that I ever said this... but my goal for 2009 is to run 800 miles and complete another marathon. I am hoping on Chicago, but Philly is always here for me if I need it. I think I'll do the half for sure! But that is a ways away.
Im training for the Cherry Blossom 10 miler and am stoked! I'd love to cash in around 1:30, but I don't know if I can do it... I think its possible I rarely run slower than 930 min/mile now. I got 2 months!
This week:

tuesday 3.1 @ 9:14 pace
wednesday- nope
thursday- 8.5 @ 9:38 pace

I really like the treadmill for speed work. I think I can challenge myself a lot more on that then I can if I'm timing speed work out on the road.
Are you going to run Broad Street this year? That's a great 10 miler!
Nice work on the treadmill. I have such issues trying to run on one, I get really bored. If you work hard I am sure you'll hit 1:30, I have no doubt.
I love all your "nope" days. It looks like MY schedule! LOL.
Kudos on the treadmill. Were we live we have a small gym and the treadmills are awful. I can't get myself on them.
What neighborhood do you run in? When we were looking to move into CC we were wondering where we would run. Honestly, it's one of the major reason we ended up just moving to Manayunk. We love the bike path out here.
Chicago is supposed to be great, but it's been so hot the last two years! That's one of the good things about Philly, you know it's going to be nice and cool :)
J is thinking about trying to get into Marine Corps in Oct. Have you thought about that one? Are you doing Broad Street?
Treadmill is a good change up!! I get tired of running on that instead of around outside, but that is limited for me right now! You can do it for Cherry Blossom! It is a great run! And you have a doable goal! I am thinking about chicago also, but I feel like I'd want to be a philly for lifer too, I don't know! But yea, the half is always there which is great!
I love that you use Nope..better than "OFF" or "Cross-training" ...so much more accurate. :)
love all your "nope" days. It looks like MY schedule!
